The Dream Team is our people - those who have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them. From creating a welcoming environment by serving on a First Impressions Team, to leading the next generation to Jesus by serving on the RKids team, to connecting with people at Community Coffee - we are a bunch of people who love Jesus and are committed to helping others discover the good life.

GENERATION TEAMS
TEAMS COMMITTED TO HELPING CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE EXPERIENCE JESUS AND GROW IN FAITH
Relate Kids: This team creates an environment where children are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus. They intentionally invest in the lives of our children through worship, videos, skits, clubs, mentorship programs, small groups, greeting, games and more.
Relate Kids Check-in: This team welcomes families as they arrive at our Kids areas and facilitates the check-in process that ensures children are cared for effectively and efficiently.
Relate Youth: Committed to building the next generation, this team serves our students who meet on Thursday nights at Relate Surrey.
EXPERIENCE TEAMS
TEAMS WORKING BEHIND THE SCENES AND IN SERVICES FROM THE PARKING LOT TO THE PLATFORM, CREATING A LIFE-GIVING CHURCH EXPERIENCE
Administration: This team utilizes their gifts of administration and organization to serve alongside Staff + Dream Team leaders during the week for department responsibilities.
Information Centre: This team connects guests to the Church community, providing resources and information on teams, groups, ministry opportunities and services at Relate.
First Impressions: This friendly team loves people and makes them feel at home here at Relate Church. They welcome guests with a smile, encouragement and personal touch so that hearts are open to the Gospel message, and also prepare people for a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting them to a seat, facilitating the offering and maintaining a distraction-free environment.
Community Coffee: This team loves serving fabulous coffee and treats to enhance the atmosphere of our church’s foyer thus allowing a greater level of connection for all.
Security: This team provides and maintains a safe environment for anyone who comes into Relate Church.
Online Hosts: This team fosters a welcoming environment during Relate Online by hosting the Live Chat. They welcome guests with virtual smiles and encouragement, and facilitate online connection and relationships.
CREATIVE TEAMS
TEAMS SERVING TO ENGAGE EVERYONE WHO ATTENDS CHURCH GATHERINGS
Media: Bring your creativity and tech savvy to this team that reaches thousands by delivering the Word and worship through camera, lighting, and other visual elements.
Worship: Through vocals, instruments, or audio engineering, this dynamic team prepares the way for our guests to encounter the presence of the living God.
Photography: Our photography team helps to capture the life and action of church to share through social media and creative elements.

This team’s mission is to serve humanity and their focus is on the under-resourced and marginalized in the community. There are a number of ministries within our community care ministry to get involved with.
