January 21 | End of 21 Day Fast
Saturday, January 21, 2012
Click here for link to scripture
And here we are - Day 21, the last day of our collective Power Launch Fast. Our reading today is from Ezekiel 47, encouraging us to 'get in the river' - swept away in a Spirit-led life of faith. Whatever you may still be holding on to at this point that's holding you back from getting all in - let it go. Our prayer is that, as a church, we'd be 'all in.'
We pray that, as we end this fast, it will just be the beginning of a new, fresh season of the Holy Spirit's anointing. We want to give Him full control of where we're going and the plans we make. We believe 2012 is going to be a year of miracles!
We encourage you to join us for 24 Hour Prayer at the Surrey Campus today as we wrap up the fast, until 4:00 pm. Come for an hour or as long as you wish. We'd also love to see you at church tonight for Mega Prayer - a night of worship, prayer and ministry.

Building Forward 24 Hour Prayer This Friday + Saturday
Tuesday, May 03, 2011
As we launch our Building Forward Campaign, one of the most important things we can do collectively is pray. Relate Church Surrey is hosting 24 hours of Continuous Prayer in the House this Friday and Saturday and we'd encourage you to join us.
You may commit to pray for one hour at any time between 5:00 pm on Friday and 5:00 pm on Saturday. Come when you're able - we'd love to see every church family member participate!
You will be led through five stations for personal prayer - Communion, Salvation, Healing, Building and Nations. You'll receive a commemorative prayer journal as well and we expect this will be an incredible time of focused corporate and personal prayer.

SOAP Bible Plan + Prayer
Tuesday, April 05, 2011
We anticipate God to move like never before this April. As a church we are fasting, praying, and reading throught the book of John together. We encourage and challenge you to join with us! Let us know what you're learning each day by joining the conversation on our FACEBOOK PAGE or by tweeting on Twitter using the hashtage #RELATESOAP.
DAILY BIBLE + PRAYER TIME:
We are reading one chapter of the Book of John daily, beginning on April 3. The reading plan is as follows:
April 3 John 1 April 4 John 2 April 5 John 3 April 6 John 4 April 7 John 5 April 8 John 6
April 9 John 7 April 10 John 8 April 11 John 9 April 12 John 10 April 13 John 11 April 14 John 12
April 16 John 14 April 17 John 15 April 18 John 16 April 19 John 17 April 20 John 18 April 21 April 19
April 22 John 20 April 23 John 21
One great way to make daily Bible reading + meditation a daily practice is to use the SOAP method:
Scripture (Read the Bible Passage)
Observation (Write down what this scripture says to you)
Application ( Write down how it applies to your life)
Prayer (Spend time talking to God and listening to what He has to say to you)
FASTING:
We'd also encourage you to consider fasting for these 21 days. You may choose to fast food, junk food, social media, television... Ask God to show you. Fasting is the practise of putting God before other natural hungers. It doesn't change God, but it confirms and strengthens our heart towards Him.
Mt 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."
Mt 5:6 "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled."
We'd love to know what you're learning, how you're growing... And let us know if you have any questions!

Fresh Prayer Life
Monday, February 07, 2011Pastor John challenged us all last Sunday to take these steps to keeping our prayer life FRESH:
Maintaining a Healthy Fresh Prayer Life:
1. Regular times of solitary prayer =
• Non-distracted communication with God, two-way communication
2. Regular times of corporate prayer
• Like exercise, the more regular the easier it becomes
• If you haven’t taken solitary time with God for a long time, a few minutes may seem long but slowly increase to where times flies in His presence
• God has given us GIFTS in people and through people to strengthen us corporately – Word of Wisdom, Knowledge, Prophecy, Tongues and Interpretation, Healings, Miracles
3. Be available 24/7 for the Holy Spirit to help you pray protection and healing for your life and others
How’s it going for you? What are you discovering this week?
