As he enters his 60th year, Pastor John Burns is once again taking on the huge challenge of golfing 100 holes in one day at Peace Portal Golf Course. With no cart, carrying his clubs, he will run the hilly course over 5 times. That's literally a marathon distance and he'll stop to swing over 500 times! It's a ridiculous challenge that he is taking on to raise financial support and awareness a cause that's incredibly important. Mercy Ministries Canada will receive all pledges and donations given. Mercy Ministries is a short term residential care home in South Surrey, BC that exists to help young women who are seeking freedom from life-controlling issues such as drug and alcohol addiction, depression, eating disorders, unplanned pregnancy, physical and sexual abuse and self-harm.
